The Elephant Sanctuary has African elephants and offers an interactive elephant experience. It offers hands on educational Elephant interactions. This provides guests with a far more intimate experience with the Elephants. Positive reinforcement elephant training methods are used, as a result Elephants are relaxed and enjoy interacting with guests. Guests are guided on foot through the Elephant Sanctuary. Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African Elephants. You will be introduced to the Elephants in the forest area, here you will be able to touch, interact, walk trunk in hand with Elephants and see Stables where the Elephants sleep at night. Guests learn the anatomy of Elephants and they are able to feed them. At the Lion and Safari Park, the guided game drive on a modern safari vehicle, will take you through the Lion, Wild dog and Hyena enclosures.
The Lion and Safari Park is a 600 hectare wilderness reserved, situated in the Cradle of Humankind area. Guests are guaranteed an opportunity to get extremely close to many of Africa's most exciting animals. The Lion Park is home to more than 85 Lions; including rare White lion, and many other Carnivores, such as Cheetahs and Wild dogs. A variety of Antelopes indigenous to Africa are also found. The Lion Park is not a Zoo; herbivores are roaming freely in the park Three prides of Lions are kept in camps including the Wild dogs.
Have an opportunity to interact with young Lion cubs. And walk around and view other indigenous young animals.
Have an extraordinary face to face encounter with the world's tallest animal - Giraffe. Feed and interact with these warm and friendly animals from a feeding platform. The feeding platform is periodically visited by a variety of other animals including Zebra and Nyala.
